Position: violin instructor
Description: Do you play violin and have a passion for teaching music? Do you love to work with students of all ages and want to grow your own schedule of weekly students? If so, we invite you to apply for our violin instructor position. At Marble Music Studios we believe that everyone has the ability to learn and express themselves creatively through music. We value the learning process as it builds confidence and connection in each of our students. Our teachers work to make lessons fun and engaging so that our students can discover the music in themselves.
Marble Music is seeking a violin teacher to join our team and continue to build our thriving string program in both studio locations. We prefer a teacher who has training or familiarity with the Suzuki method and experience in teaching private lessons. We are also looking for someone with a degree in music performance or education or is working towards completion of a degree. The teacher we are looking for is reliable, positive, collaborative and organized. Position begins August 10, 2020.

Requirements:
Must be available for after school/evening hours. Weekend hours optional.
Must be available to teach at our Seward location as well as our Lincoln location.
Teachers are responsible for providing their own teaching materials. Studio provides the space and basic materials like music stands, mirrors and chairs.
***Due to Covid restrictions, teachers and students are encouraged to wear masks and maintain distance. Gaps for cleaning are also included. Students are also given the opportunity to take an online lesson. We will continue to update our policies as it is safe and wise to do so.
