 About Us

 

Located in the Trade Center in Southeast Lincoln, Marble Music Studios offers private music lessons in our two-story studio space. We have an inviting kid zone where siblings are always welcome to come along and play quietly while your student attends their weekly lesson. Our one-on-one music lesson approach is designed to help your student develop a love of music and the ability to play their instrument with ease and confidence.  Whether you are just a beginner or a seasoned player, our lessons are structured to be fun and engaging. Ages 4 and up

  • Lessons tailored for each individual student using a variety of books and methods
  • Opportunity for group play and chamber music
  • Blend of repetoire, technique, note reading, memorization and performance preparation

    Viola Lessons

    Ages 6 and up

    • Lessons tailored for each individual student using a variety of books and methods
    • Opportunity for group play and chamber music
    • Blend of repetoire, technique, note reading, memorization and performance preparation

     We recommend going to The Violin Shop in Lincoln for your instrument rentals.

    Cello Lessons

    Ages 6 and up

    • Lessons are tailored for each individual student using a variety of books and methods
    • Opportunity for group play and chamber music
    • Blend of repertoire, technique, note reading, memorization and performance preparation

    We recommend going to The Violin Shop in Lincoln for your instrument rentals and to get sized for the correct instrument.

    Guitar and Ukulele Lessons

    Guitar Lessons

    Age 7 and up

    • Most students begin with the Hal Leonard Guitar Series
    • Lessons tailored to explore multiple genres of guitar music from rock to classical. 
    • Opportunity to play in guitar ensemble
    • Blend of finger picking, chords, theory and performance repetoire

    Ukulele lessons

    Ages 5 and up

     

    • Most students use Hal Leonard Ukulele Method 
    • Lessons tailored to individual student goals
    • Blend of meoldy, chords, theory and performance repetoire
    Kasten Phares gives a student guitar lessons.

    Piano Lessons

    Ages 4 and up

    • Lessons tailored for each individual student using a variety of books and methods
    • Perfect start for a young learner
    • Blend of lesson pieces, writing work, music theory and performance repetoire

    Must have a keyboard or piano for home practice

    Voice Lessons

    Our voice lessons are organized into three age categories.

    Elementary Level Vocal Group Class (4-6 grade): 

    • Group Class Setting
    • Head voice, breath support, pitch matching
    • Developing a love for singing
    • Join the waitlist for Spring 2023

    Middle Level Voice Lessons (7-8 grade): 30 minute private lessons

    • Navigating the vocal change
    • Developing healthy singing habits 
    • Discovering one’s unique and sincere voice
    • Blend of musical theater, folk, classical and other genres

    High School/Adult Level Private Voice Lessons (9 grade and beyond): 45-60 minute private lesson

    • Vocal technique and style 
    • Developing one’s unique and sincere voice
    • Diction, languages, audition prep
    • Sight Singing and musical theory
    • Show choir, musical theather, classical and other genres tailored to student goals
