About Us
Who We Are
We believe that music makes the world a better place.
Participating in music lessons gives children incredible skills that they will carry with them for their whole life. Our students practice growth mindset and overcome challenges. They build confidence and a sense of ownership over new skills. They cheer each other on during recitals and competitions. Our students are learning to be the future leaders in our community.
With our one-on-one private lesson approach, students work each week with their teacher to develop the skills they need to progress in their music lessons. Whether you have a tiny beginner or an advanced musician, our weekly lesson structure is tailored to fit your child’s needs and involves a blend of graduated repertoire, technique activities, music theory and note reading. Our hope is for all of our students to receive an excellent and well-rounded music education no matter where their future leads them. Teachers use games, challenges and prizes to keep lessons fun for all ages!
Are you an adult looking to get back into music or start a new hobby? We got your covered! Join our growing community of adult learners and give yourself the gift of music lessons.

Julia Marble
Owner and Director
Julia Marble is a Suzuki-trained violin teacher and music educator with over twenty years of teaching experience. She has a B.A. in elementary education (2012) and music endorsement from Concordia University Nebraska and an M.M. in Conducting from the University of Nebraska Lincoln (2016).
She founded Marble Music Studios in Seward Nebraska in 2015 while teaching out of one room in the downtown Red Path Art Gallery. Since those early days, Marble Music Studios has expanded to two locations and a full teaching faculty with some of the top instructors in the state.
Julia now spends her time as the full-time director of the schools and leading the team of teachers. Her strengths include vision planning, marketing, and strategizing big projects. She also oversees the group classes and ensemble programs of the studios. Even though she has stepped out of the classroom, Julia will always have a special passion for early childhood education and working with the youngest students in our program. As Dr. Suzuki said, where love is deep, much can be accomplished. Julia truly believes that music has the power to build bridges and create beauty in the world. Through music, students have the opportunity to discover their unique voices and foster skills that will last a lifetime.
Julia currently lives in Lincoln, Nebraska and is married to Kirk. Together, they have two daughters, Kyra and Alyssa. When she is not at the studios, she enjoys weight training, spending time with friends, traveling, and reading books.

Bethany Rouse
Owner and Administrative Director
Bethany Rouse currently resides in Lincoln, Nebraska with her husband, Nate, son, Everett, and their two cats. There she received her Bachelor of Arts in both Music and Theatre from Nebraska Wesleyan University (2011) and her Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Nebraska Lincoln (2016).
She is the current Soprano Soloist for the Axtell Oratorio Society, which annually presents Handel’s Messiah. Other favorite past roles include Olympia (Les Contes d’Hoffmann), Lucy (The Telephone), and the Dew Fairy (Hansel and Gretel). She also has a wide experience in musical theatre, with roles including Margot (Legally Blonde) and Ado Annie (Oklahoma!). In 2017 she was hired to work with the Willa Cather Foundation to create an original musical entitled Red Cloud Cannonball, which was presented at the annual Willa Cather Conference in Red Cloud, NE, and again at Gallery 1516 in Omaha.
Bethany is passionate about music education throughout all stages of life and uses her unique talents and skillsets in the day-to-day workings of Marble Music. You can find her updating spreadsheets, drafting emails, or arranging bulletin boards, all while watching the growth and success of the many students that come in and out of the studios each week. Her favorite time of year is recital time–the nervous excitement of students ready to showcase their hard work is something she takes pride in. Continuing to create a community where students can learn to appreciate and find lifelong joy in music is her biggest goal.
